The Financial Planning Process - Our Approach
At your initial meeting, your Verita Financial Adviser will spend time exploring your personal financial position. Your adviser will help you identify:

1. your financial and lifestyle goals

2. your attitude to investment risk

With your consent, your Verita Financial Solutions Adviser will then create a personal investment and insurance plan. This will be in the form of a Statement of Advice which will take into account your risk profile, as well as your personal goals and investment time frame.

In agreement with you, your adviser will then implement the recommendations.

The financial planning process generally involves the following steps:

1. Gathering your financial data - such as details on your income, debt level, commitments, etc.

2. Identifying your goals

3. Identifying any financial issues - or deficiencies between where you are now financially and where you want to be.

4. Preparing your financial plan - which will identify recommended investments, insurance, superannuation etc and will take into account the information discussed above and including your attitude to risk

5. Implementing your financial plan

6. Reviewing and revising your plan - to ensure it stays up-to-date and relevant to the economic climate and your changing lifestyle.

Changes in the economy, legislation and your personal circumstances may impact your plan. To keep your financial plan up-to-date we recommend regular reviews. Your financial adviser can discuss a service strategy and schedule reviews to suit your needs.
